Clinic Certification Process

The ICMS has developed and implemented this Clinic Certification Process to assure that certified clinics are protecting patient safety and advancing safe and effective therapies. To participate in the ICMS Re-Implantation Registry, every clinic must follow this process:

ICMS Guideline Compliance

Cell Line Registration
Stem cell lines to be included within the Treatment Registry must be evaluated, classified and registered by the ICMS as one of the accepted clinical stages for cell lines.

ICMS Laboratory Audit
After registration of cell line, every laboratory must be audited by an independent, third party organization.

Use of a non-authorized laboratory audit organization is prohibited without prior, written authorization of the ICMS

ICMS Certification Review
Once a clinic completed the above stated step, its application will be brought before a governing body of the ICMS to be evaluated. Only those clinics that have successfully passed this process will be designated an ICMS Compliant Clinic.
