Stem Cells in the Clinic

This section is dedicated to providing stem cell therapy providers and clinics with an overview of the processes to be certified by the ICMS and to provide safe and effective cellular medicine procedures as part of the physicians usual practice of medicine. Certification Process for Stem Cell Clinics

All clinics that intend to partner with the ICMS or participate in the Re-Implantation Registry must be certified by the ICMS. This process assures that ICMS certified clinics are using best practices, protecting patient safety and advancing safe and effective cellular medicine procedures. 


ICMS Clinical Staging for Stem Cell Lines

The goal of the Cell Line Staging Process is to assure patient safety and procedure efficacy. This process monitors and validates the translation between cell line categorizations. 
 

Patient Eligibility

Patient safety is the paramount goal of all physicians. The ICMS has developed acceptable minimal requirements for patient assessment in advance of receiving stem cell therapies.

Considerations in the Use of Cell Line in Practice

In order to assure patient safety, the ICMS has published basic tenants and recommendations for use of stem cells in the daily practice of medicine.
