The International Cellular Medicine Society is a 501c3 non-profit that represents doctors, researchers and patients from over 35 countries on 6 continents who believe that adult stem cell therapy is the realization of Hippocrates philosophy of the body curing itself, or "vis medicatrix naturae." Through its Treatment Registries, the ICMS provides long term follow up and outcomes/complications tracking for patients treated with cellular therapies. With the publication of its laboratory and clinical Guidelines, the ICMS provides physicians with best practice standards for the collection, processing and re-implantation of stem cells in a clinical setting. By producing an annual Off Shore Stem Cell Clinic Report, the ICMS provides an unbiased and informative survey to allow patients and physicians to compare the practices and of stem cell clinics worldwide. As a Society, the ICMS believes that doctors have a critical hand in inventing medicine. The physician driven medical discovery pathway has produced some of the greatest and most profound medical advances of the last 100 years. We value the physician's right to innovate through the practice of everyday medicine and embrace the power of responsible observational study and peer oversight in the search for better therapies.
